Community Support For Re-Entry In Wisconsin

The first six months after being released from a correctional institution can be the most critical. If prisoners have a support network in place it can help.

Fox Valley Community Circles of Support [in Appleton WI], which offers that much-needed transitioning support from incarceration to the community. Based on a program in Ohio, the group formed locally in March. There also are two groups currently meeting in Oshkosh and one in Green Bay. Organizers are trying to formulate a collaborative group in the region.
